Atemis was founded by Benoit BARRIER in October 1998 with the dream to build an ERP 100% web based using Microsoft web technologies…and now his dream came true.
Benoit has graduated from the Toulouse School of Business Management, got Master in Economy from the University of Toulouse and focused his studies on finances, cost control and international development. He has begun his career in Asia in Marketing and Finances for international groups such as Schneider and Facom (Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam). Besides the financial direction, he was in charge of the implementation and the development of ERP systems.
After 3 years, Benoit went back to Paris to join the Group Alstom Transport in the international control department. He worked on development of financial reports and budget workflow while imagining a business solution working in real time using a single database accessible from everywhere thanks to internet.
Being fond of IT and New Technologies, Benoit put forward his functional experience to acquire engineering skills in software development and build a highly skilled team with more than 200 specialists overall employed in 7 international offices. Since the creation he managed the global development and sales of Atemis Management Portal.
From 2002 Benoit teaches Marketing and CRM strategies to Master students of the School of Business Management in Nice, Lille, Paris and Toulouse. (Skema, ESC Toulouse)
